Once dominated the East End skyline.
The Codrington Reservoir stood above Barrie’s East End until 1984, once a familiar part of the neighbourhood skyline.
Julie Forler Muir Pelot remembers it as dark forest green, with metal stairs leading up from Codrington Street. She recalls that the stairs remained for years after the reservoir was demolished — and may still be there.
Barrie native OldDiamondJim remembers riding his bike past it in the late 1970s and early ’80s. By then, mature trees and a growing city had made the reservoir feel less dominant than it once had.

The Codrington Reservoir Tee brings the former landmark back through a restrained archival design featuring a simplified reservoir icon and understated typography — a deep cut from Barrie’s East End for those who remember it, and those just discovering it.
Printed in a warm, vintage-inspired ink on a soft, lightweight Next Level crew tee. The fit is modern and unisex: choose your usual size for a closer fit, or size up for something more relaxed.
