Archive 017 / Blauxham Tract
All proceeds go to Barrie Public Schools.
Before southwest Barrie grew around it, the Blauxham Tract was farmland.
Simcoe County acquired the 93-acre property in 1955, when it still sat several kilometres south of Barrie’s city limits. Like many County Forest properties, the marginal agricultural land was reforested and managed for forestry and recreation, with red and white pine becoming a defining part of the tract.
Decades later, the city has reached the forest.
Today, Blauxham sits within Barrie’s boundaries, its trails and mature trees surrounded by a southwest end that looks very different from the rural landscape that existed when the tract was planted. Hiking, cycling, dog walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing remain among the activities permitted there.
The Blauxham Tract Tee is a clean, understated tribute to those woods, with a simple stand of evergreens recalling the pine plantations that have defined the tract for generations.
Printed in a warm vintage-inspired ink on a soft, lightweight Next Level crew tee, it is designed to feel easy from the first wear—not stiff, bulky, or like conventional souvenir merchandise.
The fit is modern and unisex: streamlined through the body without feeling tight. Choose your usual size for a closer fit, or size up for a more relaxed look.
