For years, Holly Community Centre was simply that: Holly Community Centre. Swimming lessons, public skates, hockey practices, summer camps, long waits in the lobby, and the familiar choreography of neighbourhood family life.

Then the name changed.

The building didn’t. The memories didn’t. And plenty of people in Holly never really stopped calling it what they always had.

The small hockey-stick-and-puck mark nods to just one of the many ways the neighbourhood has used the place. Holly Community Centre was built with two indoor ice pads alongside its pool, gym and community spaces, while Holly Community Park next door carries the tradition outside with its own rink. Even the centre’s Holly-history panels now sit in the hallway between the two indoor rinks.

How to measure: Lay a similar shirt flat. Measure the body width one inch below the armhole, and measure the body length from the centre-back neckline seam to the bottom hem.
